Two week birthday

Happy Two Week Birthday Alison!

It is amazing that two weeks have gone by already. Alison is thriving and growing by leap and pounds.

At her last doctors appointment she had gained a full pound in a week, almost double what they expected her to grow. What can I say, she must have inherited D and mine's appetite :)

Alison is starting to stay awake more during the day - before she was awake just to eat. She loves to look around at everything, always exploring with her eyes. She gets fussy if you don't move her around every little while, so she can look at something new.

Alison is a wonderful sleeper. I don't want to jinx ourselves, but she is already sleeping an average of 4-5 hours a night straight through (as long as we give her a bottle of formula first). This makes both Mommy and Daddy VERY happy. We hope to transition her from bassinet to crib next week.

Alison also went on her first car trip this week. Unfortunately it was for her Great-Grandpa's funeral in Dietrich, Idaho. She did an amazing job in the car and through out the whole experience, she made us very proud.

Can't wait to see what the next two weeks hold...
