4 months...plus a few days

It is amazing to me that she is 4 months old already. Time has gone by so fast.

Alison has a very strong preference for sleeping on her side. She will thrash around until she gets rolled over to her side (seems to prefer the right side) and then she will promptly fall asleep. It is very cute to watch her get herself set up just right and then fall asleep within seconds of finding that perfect sleeping position.

We have put her in her exasaucer a few times and she seems to really enjoy it. She isn't balanced enough to stand up straight but she can move herself around despite her legs being at an angle. This toy has been a lifesaver when I'm in the kitchen!

Her grabbing abilities have developed very nicely. Her favorite things to grab appear to be my necklace, my hair and my glasses - in that order. She also seems to really enjoy grabbing on to Gohan's hair. Luckily he takes it in stride and doesn't flinch when she does it. He has even been known to give her 'kisses' afterward she has grabbed his hair.

Alison has many firsts coming up soon - first Thanksgiving, first Christmas....all which will be fun times filled with lots of family. I am hoping she will also be able to try her first baby foods soon. I've making my own and freezing them and am eager for her to try them out. Fun times ahead for the Carrie family!
